Crystal Palace v Burnley: Burnley’s nerves should remain jangling

West Brom eh? They've had a great season haven't they? Oh, I agree. But it's incredible to think that if Crystal Palace win here they could be just three points behind them.

That fact is a huge tribute to the work of Sam Allardyce and his side over the last couple of months. It's six wins out of nine for his Palace side and I do think they'll be too strong for Burnley.

Burnley = Crisp

Burnley are like Crisp. They went miles clear in the race to avoid relegation and from out of nowhere have started to be sucked back into the hell hole of a possible return to the Championship.

Since the dawn of February, Sean Dyche's side have won just one of their 11 Premier League matches and they sit just five points above Swansea in 18th place.

You can imagine it's all getting bit a nervous at Turf Moor. Psychologically they could be uneasy on Saturday and if you couple that with their awful away form it's cause for concern.

It's well publicised, but worth repeating that Burnley have picked up just four points away from Turf Moor this season. All four of those points have came from draws, with three of them against bottom four sides.

Allardyce has a huge ego and if his side finish top half we'll never hear the end of it. A win here against in-freefall Burnley will fuel those dreams and with recent wins against the likes of Middlesbrough, Watford and West Brom (as well as the Hollywood sides) it shows that this side can grind.
