The Festival concludes with a difficult handicap hurdle for conditional jockeys however I am quite keen on the favourite in this race, in the form of unknown quantity Dallas Des Pictons (7/2 Sky Bet).

The six-year old will love the soft ground, having scored on heavy when racing in France and was equally as impressive when winning a good ground handicap last time at Leopardstown and represents Gigginstown, who have enjoyed recent success in this race, winning four of the last seven renewals.

The selection may just have a touch of quality about him that may be too good for the rest and could be racing in hotter races than this in the future.

Another Gordon Elliot runner in the shape of Cartwright (10/1 Bet365) has made the switch to hurdles from the flat and acts on heavy and there could be more to come whilst the Willie Mullins-trained Getareason has looked good in novice company and could grab a place now in handicap company if taking to the ground.

I'm currently a student studying journalism at Salford University. I got into betting early on, usually doing small stake accumulators with silly returns, just as a way of making weekend's more interesting. This quickly led to me taking it more seriously and now I bet regularly on football and horse racing, as well as sports such as cricket, golf and snooker. Football and horse racing are my main passions and I support Chelsea.
