The Gold Cup is the highlight of the week and this is a very strong renewal. Defending champion Al Boum photo will be hard to beat but I've taken a chance on his stablemate who has become a very backable price.

Kemboy has ran three times at the Festival and on all occasions his jumping has let him down. However away from here it's much better and I'm willing to believe he can act around here.

His form on good ground is the main reason for my interest. Since chasing he has won 3 from 5 with good in the title and as long as he gets his confidence up early with solid jumps I think he a good each-way bet at a very big price compared to what was expected

Best Bets

15:05 Gold Cup – Kemboy (20/1 each-way Bet365)

I grew up watching Hearts games with my dad and playing football at every opportunity so betting on it was the logical next step! Football coupons became a Saturday ritual and it introduced me into the world of horse racing. I started watching it on a regular basis, and after Galileo's Derby win in 2001 I was hooked. I follow both flat and national hunt racing attending the northern meetings when possible.
