The RSA is the key race of the year for staying novice chasers and this looks a decent renewal. There are question marks over most of these in terms of jumping stamina or even just class, and I'm giving one at a bigger price a chance to come good.
Slate House (14/1 Bet365) has won a Grade 1 this season already and has finally lived up to his early reputation as a novice hurdler. He has run twice at the Festival before however both of those were over two miles and this is much more to his liking.
He will most likely be dropped in and I see him as a great each-way bet to pick up some place money providing his jumping is better than it was last time out.

About Author

I grew up watching Hearts games with my dad and playing football at every opportunity so betting on it was the logical next step! Football coupons became a Saturday ritual and it introduced me into the world of horse racing. I started watching it on a regular basis, and after Galileo's Derby win in 2001 I was hooked. I follow both flat and national hunt racing attending the northern meetings when possible.
