The Coral Cup is one of the big betting handicaps of the meeting and this is typically competitive. My best advice here is shop around for each-way value with some bookmakers offering seriously enhanced places.

JP McManus loves to target the handicaps with his horses and Gavin Cromwell is equally adept at landing gambles. Their runner Alfa Mix (11/1 Unibet) has been heavily supported in recent days and he's my selection here.

He has plenty of big field experience and his last two runs, a win and a second, put him bang in contention for this.
