SCOTTISH football expert Mr Fixit (@MrFixitTips) previews Wednesday night's Champions League contest between Celtic and Nomme Kalju as the Bhoys look to march on.

Celtic v Nomme Kalju | Wednesday 24th July 2019, 19:45 | Celtic TV

Celtic breezed through round one of the Champions League qualifiers – and the next hurdle should be just as easy. Saraejvo were beaten home and away for a 5-2 aggregate success and while Neil Lennon would have preferred two clean sheets it was a good outcome at this stage of the season.

The Hoops should be better prepared for Wednesday night's meeting with Estonian champs Nomme Kalju who were surprise winners against Shkendija. It's tough trying to find value in such a lopsided betting heat.

Bookies reckon this will be a walk in the park for Celtic. They are no bigger than 1/20 to qualify and 1/66 this midweek. Indeed, Celtic -2 should land at 1/2 with Coral.

Odsonne Edouard can step up to the plate so back him to score first at 11/4 with bet365.

Nomme shouldn't worry the home defence and it's time for the new boys to celebrate a first clean sheet. Celtic to win to nil pays 4/9 at Coral and will form part of my 21/10 Champions League treble alongside Qarabag +1 for their trip to Dundalk and BATE Borisov draw no bet at home to Rosenborg.

Best Bets

Celtic v Nomme Kalju – Odsonne Edouard to score first (11/4 Bet365)

Champions League – Celtic to win to nil, Qarabag +1 handicap and BATE Borisov draw no bet (21/10 Bet365)
