BURNLEY entertain Wolves on Wednesday evening on the BBC. Daniel McCulloch (@DMcCulloch1984) shares his favourite fancies.

The nation will likely be enthralled by this encounter on BBC tonight, with both sides better known for the defensive solidity rather than a gung-ho attacking nature.

Wolves matches tend to be quite cagey, with first halves in particular short on goals. To date this season they have managed just 13 in the opening stanza and 35 in the second. Indeed, since the Premier League started back up their six matches have seen just two goals scored before half time and none before the  43rd minute.

With six of Burnley’s last 11 matches level at the interval and seven of Wolves’s last ten also a stalemate at this point, I like the look of the 19/20 Bet365 are offering on the game to be a draw at half time.

Given that Wolves have gone on to win three of their last six matches that have been scoreless at the interval, I also like the look of Draw/Wolves in the Half-Time/Full-Time market, which is available at 19/5 with BetVictor.

I realise that both bets are done if the game is not a stalemate at half time but that is a risk worth taking where these two sides are concerned.
