BUNDESLIGA fanatic Jonny O'Sullivan (@libero_the) has taken a deep dive into Matchday 14 from Germany, picking out his best bets.

The Bundesliga continued to deliver last week as Leon Bailey put a dagger through the hearts of all Bayern Munich fans as he tore Benjamin Pavard to pieces to give Leverkusen an impressive 2-1 win at the Allianz Arena.

Borussia Monchengladbach continue to lead the pack as they beat another surprise package in the form of Freiburg 4-2. Leipzig also continued their supreme goalscoring form as they bagged another three in a 3-2 victory, whilst Dortmund displated their Jekyll and Hyde nature under Lucien Favre as they turn from scintillating to catastrophic, just about scraping a 2-1 victory against Jurgen Klinsmann's Hertha Berlin.

Borussia Monchengladbach v Bayern Munich | Saturday 7th December 2019, 17:30 | BT Sport

In no doubt the fixture of the weekend in Germany, Bayern Munich travel to Borussia Park with the hope of cutting the gap between themselves and the league leaders.

Bayern Munich's desperation to land their eighth league title in a row will no doubt be on show this weekend as Hansi Flick will view this match as an opportunity to showcase that he can be the man to bring the title to Munich.

Both sides can score in abundance. Gladbach have scored an impressive 28 goals, which is six less than the side who are coming to their house this weekend. The hosts have scored two or more goals in their last six home matches

Seven out of Bayern Munich's last eight away games have resulted in four or more goals being scored. When coupled with four out of Gladbach's last five goals sharing the same statistic, it seems a formality that there will be goals aplenty on Saturday afternoon.

Bayern have scored in every away game so far this season and have only failed to score two or more goals in their 5-1 nightmare at Frankfurt. Both teams are superb going forward and have a lot of ambition and determination to prove that they are the real deal.

Over 3.5 Goals is evens with Paddy Power.

RB Leipzig v Hoffenheim | Saturday 7th December 2019, 14:30

RB Leipzig are proving worthy title contenders under Julian Nagelsmann. The league’s leading scorers are irresistible right now and each game they play is pure box office. Thirty-one goals in their last six fixtures are figures that are borderline laughable.

Hoffenheim are without a win in two but are a good team, it is simply a case of Leipzig are better. With the home advantage, it would be expected that the most unpopular team can put Hoffenheim to the sword and Nagelsmann can make his former club pay.

Leipzig have only lost three of their last 29 matches and have seen both teams score in nine out of their last 11 fixtures. Hoffenheim have also seen both teams score in five of their last fixtures, which shows their attacking threat and defensive frailties.

Hoffenheim have scored in their last eight Bundesliga game and will be facing a Leipzig side without their first-choice keeper and centre backs Will Orban and Ibrahima Konate. However, Hoffenheim are also missing their anchor-man Sebastian Rudy and centre back Benjamin Hubner.

Ultimately, both fixtures should produce games which are exciting and filled with goals and drama. The Bundesliga is consistently proving that it is up there in terms of entertainment and teams being fearless. This weekend will hopefully be much more of the same.
