BRIGHTON host Leeds on Saturday from the Premier League. Chris Clark (@ChrisClark1975) shares his verdict.

It would appear to be a pleasing game on the eye this Saturday evening, between two of the better footballing sides in the league. However both sides find themselves in a rut.

Brighton haven't won in the league since mid September, they are on a seven game winless run.  Whilst Leeds are counting the cost of injuries to key players, and there is no sign of Patrick Bamford returning this weekend. Raphinha and Rodrigo will return the line-up after missing last week's defeat at Tottenham.

Leeds, I thought, performed well at Spurs, and were unfortunate not to pick up at least a point. Daniel James was a constant threat throughout and opened his account for Leeds finishing off a fine move.

James in the game had five attempts at goal, with three on target. He looks to have found his feet at Elland Road, and with Leeds attacking style of play, I'm backing James to continue his scoring run, by scoring at anytime at 23/5 with Unibet.

When you think of Brighton under Graham Potter, you think nice football, pleasing on the eye but could do with a decent forward. However, they're dirty – 32 bookings have been accumulated so far this season, and only Newcastle have more with 33.
You can understand why Newcastle have so many, last ditch panic defending etc. However Brighton with 32 is a shock. Maybe it's the sneaky, tactical fouls which are a trademark of Potter's Spanish idol Pep Guardiola's side.
With Leeds probably having the aforementioned speedster James on one wing, and Raphinha on the other, Brighton's wing backs and wide centre back's will be pushed to the limit, and you can picture a Leeds break-away being thwarted by a sneaky foul by one of the Brighton defenders.
Shane Duffy would be a prime candidate as he has four bookings already this season, but I'm looking at Marc Cucurella who will be up against the wily Raphinha to pick up at a card at 16/5 with Paddy Power.

Best Bets

Brighton vs Leeds – Dan James anytime goalscorer (23/5 Unibet)

Brighton vs Leeds – Marc Cucurella to be carded (16/5 Paddy Power)

I had a strange introduction to the world of gambling. My early summer holidays I was packed off to my grandad's for a few weeks - little did I know that those weeks were spent inside the local Ladbrokes listening to the afternoon racing, so you could say the world of betting has been ingrained from an early age. For my sins, I'm a Tottenham supporter. I've supported them through thick and thin....mainly thin.
