Adam Boath (@StudsUpOlly) is in the hot-seat for Super Sunday's fixture between Brentford and Everton.
Brentford vs Everton | Sunday 28th November 2021, 14:00 | SkySports
A frosty affair in West London where Brentford welcome Everton to the Brentford Community Stadium in a battle between two sides struggling to find any form at the moment.
Last 5 Games:

- Everton LDLLL
The stats don’t lie both these sides are truly struggling and for different reasons. Brentford are just lacking that class, that something special, that spark to give them any kind of chance of staying in the league. January will be interesting for them whilst the toffees have an injury list as long as my arm.
This game could go either way but with the hosts possessing the advantage of the crowd and the opportunity to claim three points against a fellow form struggling I feel my play has a nice bit of value.
I am going into the shots market, not something I usually do but I felt it looked solid enough given the situation of both sides. Here is a bit of a fact find on the shots for Brentford and shots against Everton have went so far for them at home/away respectively.
Last 6 Home Games:
- Brentford Shots For: 19/15/17/12/7/8
An average of 13 so far this season, with an average of 15.75 across the last 4. This includes games against Leicester, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Last 6 Away Games:
- Everton Conceded Shots 17/10/13/15/14/17
An average of 14.33 and 13.75 across the last 4. Hitting today’s selection from those 6 games were Man City, Man Utd, Aston Villa, Brighton and Leeds.
Rafa will most likely need to hope Everton can contain and soak up pressure from Brentford to hit on the counter but their attacking quality is scarce as DCL is missing through injury again, Richarlison is suspended and Demerai Gray may also not make it. This may mean being patient and will also play into the hands of Brentford to allow them to come at Everton from the get go.
