GAVIN Murphy (@GamePlanGavin) kicked off the weekend in style on Monday with a bookings winner, now he goes for more glory.

Chelsea v Porto | Wednesday 19:45 | BT Sport 2

Porto's surprise defeat at home to Dynamo Kiev on Matchday 5 has made it a three-way fight for Champions League Group G's two qualifying spots and Chelsea will be banking on home advantage to carry them through – they have won all five games against Portuguese visitors.

On 29 September Porto made it a miserable return to the Estádio do Dragão for José Mourinho as goals either side of half-time from André André and Maicon inflicted a 2-1 defeat, Willian having levelled just before the break.

Chelsea's 4-0 win at Maccabi Tel-Aviv last time out put them on top of the section with 10 points, the same as Porto; Dynamo are two behind.

The winner of this game wins the group; Porto will top it with a draw should Dynamo not win at home to Maccabi. If Dynamo win and this game is drawn, Chelsea finish second and Porto go into the Europa League.

In short, plenty at stake! Turkish ref Cüneyt Çakır, who took charge of the Champions League Final last year, gets the whistle for this battle. I can really see this kicking-off as one side faces elimination if Kiev win their game.

The first meeting in Portugal had seven cards and I expect around the same here. Over 5.5 cards is widely available. I'm taking the 10/11 with William Hill.

Roma v BATE Borisov | Wednesday 19:45 | BT Sport Extra

Roma host BATE Borisov in their final Group E fixture with both clubs still in with a chance of claiming a place in the Champions League round of 16.

Roma, with five points, sit above Bayer Leverkusen in second place thanks to their superior head-to-head record and they will hold on to their position with victory over BATE – or if they draw and Leverkusen fail to beat Barcelona in the group's other game.

BATE, fourth with four points, will qualify for the knockout stage for the first time if they win in Rome and Leverkusen lose or draw against Barcelona.

Again, this match is all or nothing for both sides. Both have demonstrated an ability to collect cards particularly the visitors. Martin Atkinson gets the job of keeping these two teams in check.

I can't believe that this game has been priced up as 4.5 cards. It just seems too low. William Hill are offering over 4.5 cards at 21/20 and I'm getting involved!

I first got interested in gambling through my cousin. He's a professional gambler and got me hooked as a teenager when you had to pay the 9% tax. Who remembers that?! These days I prefer to specialise on one market rather than spread myself too thinly. Hence my love of cards! Hopefully I can make others a few bob in the process of sharing my bets on WeLoveBetting. On a personal note I love most sports especially cricket, rugby and NFL. I support Tottenham and all things Welsh and outside of sport I enjoy reading autobiographies particularly with a glass of good wine!
