A massive Sunday of derby action and Gavin Murphy (@GamePlanGavin) has all the best bookings bets for us.

Torino v Juventus | Sunday 14:00 | BT Sport Europe

A huge weekend of derbies continues with matches in Newcastle and Turin on Sunday as might be expected the lines on these games are quite high.

Martin Atkinson gets the job of keeping the Magpies and Mackems in check while in Turin, Nicola Rizzoli is charged with maintaining order between Torino and Juventus.

Not very exciting but an over 45pts double (which are around 1/3 shots in each match) in Newcastle/Sunderland & Torino/Juventus pays around 8/11 with William Hill. This really should be buying money as its hard to see either match not having at least five cards.

Newcastle v Sunderland | Sunday 13:30 | Sky Sports 1

Another interesting angle in the Newcastle v Sunderland game is the time of first card market. In the last five matches between these two teams the first card was issued in the 2nd minute, 7th,12th,14th and 39th.

Basically four out of five recent meetings have comfortably had a card before this week's line. Bet365 are offering 5/6 a card before 24th minute and that looks worth a small interest or perhaps putting into an accumulator.

Best Bets

Torino v Juventus Over 45 Bookings Points/Newcastle v Sunderland Over 45 Bookings Points Double (8/11 William Hill)

Newcastle v Sunderland – A Card Before 24th Minute (5/6 Bet365)

About Author

I first got interested in gambling through my cousin. He's a professional gambler and got me hooked as a teenager when you had to pay the 9% tax. Who remembers that?! These days I prefer to specialise on one market rather than spread myself too thinly. Hence my love of cards! Hopefully I can make others a few bob in the process of sharing my bets on WeLoveBetting. On a personal note I love most sports especially cricket, rugby and NFL. I support Tottenham and all things Welsh and outside of sport I enjoy reading autobiographies particularly with a glass of good wine!
