Betting is something I’ve been surrounded by for large parts of my life, whether that’s my nanna betting on the horses, or my dad's lucky 15’s on the football. Although I wasn’t old enough to bet, my interest began in 2008 when my mum placed a bet on Hull to beat Arsenal at The Emirates - the rest was history. I enjoy staking money on stat-related wagers, using research and the relevant statistics to aid my decisions. The prevalence of statistics in the modern game has increased the appeal of betting with the emergence of Expected Goals (xG) especially. Outside of betting and writing, I’m a huge Hull City supporter and a regular match-goer. I’m also interested in snooker and darts.
