I started working in the betting industry as a teenager, not necessarily legally, as a son of someone who has been in involved in Huddersfield’s leading independent bookmakers for nearly 35 years. Since then I've moved from Timebox to Coral to BetVictor. A lover of football, cricket, rugby, darts, golf and National Hunt Racing to mention but a few. Talk a good game, punt a dreadful one. You will catch me on the sun-laden astroturf pitches of Gibraltar or in an office watching horses run around a field or golfers hitting balls with a stick, generally with a few bob on both.
