TOM SELWYN (@tom_selwyn) returns with a best bet from Monday night's NFL action.

Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints | Tuesday 01.30 | Sky Sports 1

A game in the NFC South for MNF this week and these games can be quite tough to predict, so instead I’ll be looking at Atalanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan.

Ryan has started the season very nicely and has historically played well against the Saints, so I’ll be backing him to have another nice day against New Orleans and go Over 291.5 passing yards on Monday night at 10/11 with William Hill.

Due to this match-up being inter-divisional, these two teams see a lot of each other and so we have a nice sample-size to look at for when Ryan has gone against the Saints.

In his 13 games against them, he has average 302-yards a-game, including going over our 291.5 total in the last six.

When you look at how Ryan has started this season – completing 72.6% of his passes while throwing for 365-yards per-game and putting up a 5-1 TD to INT ratio – you have to think that he will continue to have success against New Orleans.

Of course, when you play the current iteration of the New Orleans Saints you also get the benefit of going up against their defence that does not hold up well against the pass.

Through two games this season they are ranked 30th in the league, giving up 336-yards per-game.

The Saints will also be without two of their best defensive players for this one as well – DE Cameron Jordan and CB Delvin Breaux.

With this defence that he’s going against, we should see Ryan continue his early-season form.

Best Bets

Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints – Matt Ryan to go Over 291.5 Passing Yards (10/11 William Hill)
