Stoke City v Burnley | Saturday 15:00

Stoke have been a tricky team to call so far this season, despite conceding the second least shots on target in the Premier League, they still seem to find ways to lose and have unusually been letting in a lot of set piece goals too. However, their last four performances have all been decent, despite not getting the reward they perhaps deserved.

Burnley picked up a much needed win at home against Hull last time out. That would have boosted confidence but with just two points and two goals in five away games so far, I like Stoke to beat them this weekend.

I'll be taking Stoke -0.75 at 13/14 with BetVictor, which will get us a half win if they do the business by a single goal but ideally they'll win by two for the full payout.

Everton v West Ham | Saturday 15:00

The Hammers have been hugely impressive so far this season, but they have to regress at some stage and I think this week at Everton could be the start of a downturn in fortunes for Sam Allardyce's men. They come into the match with serious injury concerns over Winston Reid, Stewart Downing, Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia.

Everton have injury worries too, but not to key players and Ross Barkley is back to full fitness as well. Finally, West Ham haven't beaten Everton in the Premier League since 2007 so I'm happy to take the Merseyside club -0.75 at a generous looking 10/9 with BetVictor.

Hull City v Tottenham Hotspur | Sunday 16:00 | Sky Sports 1

As mentioned earlier Hull lost against Burnley last time out and have only won two games so far this season. If you include the tail end of last season they've only won three in their last 19 Premier League matches, which is serious relegation form.

Spurs have been pretty awful under Mauricio Pochettino so far, but have a respectable away record of P5 W2 D2 L1 and have a very impressive longer term record against bottom half sides. But, I don't fully trust them so I'm taking Spurs -0.25 at 7/8 with Bet365 which at least returns half our stake if the game ends in a draw.

Stoke v Burnley – Stoke -0.75 (13/14 BetVictor)

Everton v West Ham – Everton -0.75 (10/9 BetVictor)

Hull v Tottenham – Tottenham -0.25 (7/8 Bet365)
