Aberdeen vs Rangers | Sunday 10th January 2020, 15:00 | Sky Sports
Aberdeen have been a bit off-the-boil of late, drawing a blank in 2/3 of their recent league matches – drawing 0-0 at Motherwell and also another stalemate at home to Dundee United. Sandwiched in between was a 2-1 victory at home to St Johnstone.
Rangers, on the other hand, whilst not being at their best, won 1-0 against their old rivals Celtic last weekend – which now gives the Teddy Bears a massive 19 point lead in their relentless pursuit of the league title. The victory hinged on the Nir Bitton's second half sending off, and a couple of superb Allan McGregor saves. This victory was also preceded by another three ‘win to nils' for the Ibrox side.
The Gers opening salvo in the league season was a very comfortable 1-0 win at Pittodrie. In total, the visitors kept 8/11 clean sheets on the road – winning seven of those 11 without leaking.
Given Steven Gerrard's men's impressive defensive record this season, and doubts regarding the firepower of Derek McInnes's current attacking options. another standard Rangers win could be incoming.
The visitors have netted exactly twice in 5/11 on the road. For that reason, I'm going to plump for dutching the 0-1 and 0-2 correct scores with SkyBet, as the visitors will ultimately just want to bag the three points with the minimum of fuss.
