MARCO Di Cosmo (@scioltz) was spot on with his best bet of the season on Monday. Now Roma’s meeting with Milan has grabbed his attention.
Roma v AC Milan | Saturday 19.45 | BT Sport 1
I can’t believe the price on Roma this Saturday. The Wolves hold the best home record in the league with and just one draw. That draw came in their last match at the Olimpico against Sassuolo, where they managed to recover a 0-2 deficit when down to 10-men!
The Giallorossi have already scored 20 goals in their eight games in the Italian capital, leaking only four. They’ve kept clean sheets in six of those eight matches since the start of the season.
Looking at the odds, Roma are rated 4/5 to beat Milan this weekend. Juventus were a touch shorter when they played Milan away at the San Siro earlier this season and I don’t see too much difference between the Wolves and Juve.
Because of that, I see a massive value in Roma’s price. They’re playing in front of their home fans at the Olimpico which is clearly an easier task than what Juventus had in front of them in Milan.
I was sure the Giallorossi would see off Inter and I don’t see Milan being any better than their city rivals. Plus, Pipo Inzaghi’s side are riddled with injuries coming into this clash.
The Rossoneri will miss their entire defensive line. Ignazio Abate, Mattia De Sciglio, Alex, and Adil Rami are all unavailable for Saturday, and they would all make Milan’s first choice XI. That’s not ideal when you’re visiting the toughest ground in Italy.
Roma won this fixture 2-0 in April and I rate them a better team than that of eight months ago. Milan might have only suffered one away loss but they have only claimed two wins on the road and that’s despite a relatively comfortable fixture list. Until now.
If my last tip (Inter Milan to win at Chievo) was one the best bets of the season, this is most certainly the best pick of the weekend. Jump on the Giallorossi to beat Milan in your last big bet before Christmas in Serie A.
