Both these sides come into this one on the back of score draws last time out against decent opposition. Manchester United were involved in another goal-heavy game at the King Power and Wolves classically coming back from behind to get a point against Spurs.
I do worry for the United defence coming up against the pace that Wolves have in forward areas with Adama Traore, Pedro Neto and Daniel Podence. if United are encouraged to get up the park with Wolves sitting deep then it could come back to bite them. It’s hard to see this Red Devils side not scoring a couple against anyone at the minute though with the verve they’re showing in the final third.
With that in mind, I’m surprised you can get even-money on Both Teams To Score (10Bet) here. Especially when you factor in the quick turnaround in fixtures, tired legs could mean there are plenty of opportunities for both sides. Wolves tend to notch against the big boys and quite often get a result too, given United’s questionable home form I’d much rather take BTTS at evens than United at short 4/7 quotes.
I’ll also chance my arm in a unique market here, on PaddyPower’s Shots On Target Specials market. There’s some 11/2 available on the aforementioned Podence to have a shot on goal from outside the box and that looks a bit big to me.
The former Olympiakos man has been a real livewire, he has really quick feet and can shift the ball and get a strike off more rapid than most. He’s averaging over 2 shots per game with a third coming from beyond 18 yards. This bet has landed 4 times already for Podence this season and United are conceding the 10th most shots in the league this season.
