It hasn’t taken Zdenek Zeman long to start implementing his blueprint upon Cagliari. Having secured just one win in 27 previous trips away from home, the Sardinians have won two of their last three games on the road, scoring four goals in both victories (Inter 1-4, Empoli 0-4).

Last week we explained how Zeman’s style was once described as ‘football porn’. The high-pressing and all-out attack philosophy tends to throw-up a few unexpected results and normally treats us punters to a few high-scoring encounters too. So rather than trying to second-guess the outcome of Cagliari games, it’s best to focus on the goal markets.

Hosts Lazio are unbeaten in five, winning four on the spin before a 1-1 draw with Verona on Thursday night. Stefano Pioli is the man in charge in Rome and under his guidance the capital club have smashed 12 goals in their last five league outings and have failed to keep a clean sheet at the Stadio Olimpico since their opening day win over newly-promoted Cesena.

As for Zeman and his visitors; six of Cagliari’s nine matches in Serie A under the Czech’s watch have featured Both Teams Scoring with the Sardinians even netting a league-high 11 goals in the first-half of fixtures. Taking Ladbrokes’ 4/5 on Both Teams To Score looks the most sensible solution.
