Blacktype’s 109/100 on Wolves +1.5 on the Asian Handicap looks like an excellent price to me.
That may seem surprising given that Liverpool put four past Barcelona on Tuesday night and have won 16 and drawn two games at Anfield this term – with 12 of these victories being by two goals or more – but I believe that this game will be played in fairly exceptional circumstances.
If news reaches Anfield that City have scored early its likely to deflate the crowd and the game could be played in near-testimonial circumstances.
Additionally, Wolves’s record against the Big Six this season is incredible. They’ve beaten every single European finalist this term and have lost just one of their five matches away from home against that group of sides. That came at The Etihad where they Willy Boly sent off after just 19 minutes.
Wolves have the speed and skill on the break to cause Liverpool plenty of problems so while I did consider Liverpool to win by a single goal, I will simply keep Wolves onside and back them +1.5 with Black Type.
