BOURNEMOUTH welcome Man Utd to Dean Court in the early Saturday kick-off this weekend. Ross Casey (@RossCasey24) offers his best bets…
Bournemouth v Manchester United | Saturday 3rd November 2018, 12:30 | Sky Sports
It's hard to not be impressed by Bournemouth so far this season. The Cherries have enjoyed their best-ever start to a Premier League campaign, picking up 20 points from their first 10 games this season, leaving them in sixth place – three points and two places above their opposition Man Utd.
Despite those statistics, the Cherries are the underdogs here with odds of 27/10 available with Marathon. This is somewhat surprising, especially as Eddie Howe's side are yet to lose at home – however, they haven't played any top quality sides yet at Dean Court and are winless in their last five matches against United.
Jose Mourinho's charges have been a much better side to watch in recent weeks, but that hasn't correlated to improved results with the Red Devils picking up just two wins in their last eight matches – incredibly six of those have been home games too. Despite this, United are favourites to win this one still with a best price of 23/20 with BetVictor.
Goals certainly haven't been a problem for the Cherries so far this season – only four sides have netted more Premier League goals than the hosts this season and they have notched 14 in their unbeaten run.
Bournemouth
As has already been mentioned, Bournemouth have had an excellent start to the season and they come into this match on a six-match unbeaten streak across all competitions, winning five in that sequence.
Keeping goals out has also been an issue though, with just four clean sheets kept in 14 matches across all competitions. When you add in the fact that Both Teams To Score has landed in five of the seven times Man Utd have visited, then you can understand why BTTS is as short as 8/13.
Therefore, I am going to look at Bournemouth to score 2+ goals at 6/4. The Cherries have netted at least two goals in 10 of their 13 matches this season, and seven in their eight at home, so those odds look tasty, especially when you add in Man Utd conceding two or more goals five times this season and have recorded just three clean sheets across all competitions.
Man Utd
Man Utd are favourites to win, but I have already given plenty of reasons to avoid backing them for the three points in this one.
For me, Bournemouth look a decent price here, but I would also say that the fact United are unbeaten in five against Bournemouth is a worry.
Therefore, taking the Cherries in the Draw No Bet market is a better option, in my opinion. Especially when you can still get Bournemouth at odd- against quotes of 87/50 (Marathon).
