Dover v Solihull Moors | Saturday 15th September 2018, 15:00
Dover have had a poor start to the season, picking up just one win from their opening ten games. The Whites are usually pretty solid defensively – they only conceded 44 goals last season. However, they've conceded 20 goals already this term. Dover have found the back of the net ten times themselves up to now, with seven of those coming at home. Overall their ten games have averaged three goals per game, with seven of the ten going over 2.5 goals.
Solihull were one of the pre-season favourites for relegation with the bookies but have made a decent start to the season, they sit in 11th place with sixteen points. The Moors have seen 25 goals in their opening ten games. 17 of those have come away from home where all five matches have gone over 2.5 goals.
Overs has been priced up at Evens with Paddy Power and that looks a decent price.
Hartlepool vs Eastleigh | Saturday 15th September 2o18, 15:00
After a difficult couple of seasons, Hartlepool look like they've turned a corner. They started the season slowly with three draws and a loss but have since won five of six, keeping three clean sheets in their last four. Liam Noble has been the pick of the bunch for them so far this season after dropping down a division. The ex-Notts County midfielder has already netted five goals this campaign, three of them being match winning goals.
Eastleigh haven't had the best of starts to the 2018/19 campaign. They've lost six of their ten games, including three of their last four where they've failed to score a single goal. Only Braintree have scored fewer goals in the National League than Eastleigh this season.
The odds against for a home win have gone, but 19/20 with 888sport still looks a decent price. It could be a long 300+ mile journey home for the Spitfires.
Maidenhead vs Halifax | Saturday 15th September 2018, 15:00
After a bad start to the season, Maidenhead have picked up ten points in their last five games (they only had one point after their first five). They have only picked up points against teams that are 16th or lower, though. When Maidenhead have played the stronger teams they have tended to struggle.
Halifax sit in 5th place at the moment after a good start to the season. The Shaymen have won five, drawn three and lost two of their opening ten matches. Those three draws have come in their last three games, but they have all been very tough fixtures and it took a 90th minute equaliser for Leyton Orient to stop them picking up all three points.
The away win looks a nice price at 2/1 with Betway, but I'm playing it a bit safer in the draw no bet market at 28/25 with Marathon.
