The Liam Healy Memorial Lartigue Hurdle is a Grade B handicap over two miles and a decent race for a Tuesday afternoon.
It's a big field with a short-priced favourite, who looks hugely progressive, but there is one at a big price I feel represents good each way-value and I'm convinced he will pop up at a huge price one day.
Randalls Ur Poet (14/1 Ladbrokes) is a 14-race maiden and has become something of a specialist in failure with a unique ability to turn victory in to defeat. However, despite finding winning a real challenge, he's not ungenuine and in the last eight starts over obstacles he's not been out of the first three.
He remains a young horse who, despite not winning yet, is a horse I feel it will pay to follow. He returned from a break with a low-key effort on the flat but he will be fitter here and he strikes me as the type who will excel in a big field handicap where the runners come back to him.
I've backed him each way for this in Listowel.
