Liverpool v Watford - Liverpool value in the handicap market

Liverpool are unbeaten at home in the Premier League and I expect them to dispatch Newcastle with the minimum of fuss.

The Reds have started 2018 well and apart from blips away from home, they have shown no signs of missing Phil Coutinho, meanwhile Virgil Van Dijk has slotted in well and the tiresome talk of his transfer fee is starting to go away.

The news of an upcoming Champions League tie with Man City will have mouths watering, especially as they beat The Cityzens in a thriller at Anfield and have revenge on their minds for the 5-0 loss at The Etihad.

Liverpool dominated Man Utd last weekend but still fell foul to Marcus Rashford and they will be a bit of a wounded animal heading into this one.

Jurgen Klopp's Reds have scored 33 home goals so far this season and covered a minus two handicap seven times at Anfield in all competitions ands after the way Watford defended last week, I can see Liverpool making it eight on Saturday evening.

Back Liverpool to win by three or more goals at 11/8.

Watford

Arsenal beat Watford 3-0 on the weekend and The Hornets don't get any rest this week as they head to Anfield. The Hornets started the season with great away form, winning their first three and drawing the fourth but since then, they have been nothing short of woeful on the road.

They have picked up just four points from a possible 33 in their last 11 away matches in the Premier League and also been knocked out in the FA Cup on their travels to the struggling Southampton.

They find goals horribly hard to come by too, netting just two away goals in their last nine attempts – including against West Ham.

This one looks like a drubbing on paper and I will take the Liverpool clean sheet with Liverpool to win to nil at 20/21 with BetVictor
