THE Premier League continues on Wednesday night so we asked Ben Levene (@BenLevene96) to shares his best bets.
Bournemouth v Burnley | Wednesday 29th November 2017, 19:45
Burnley have been excellent on the road this season. They’ve lost just one of their five games on their travels – at Man City – and avoided defeat at both Liverpool and Spurs.
The Clarets won ‘to nil’ on both occasions they travelled to sides outside of the to six, triumphing at both Everton and Southampton. I see this game as one of similar ilk.
Sean Dyche’s side were unlucky to lose 1-0 at Turf Moor to Arsenal on Sunday as the Gunners won via a last-minute penalty but found things tough against this dogged Burnley side. Only City and United have conceded fewer goals than Burnley, who’ve leaked just once in their last four matches.
After a slow start to the season, things have picked up for Bournemouth. However, like Burnley, the Cherries have picked up some of their best results on the road and are three games unbeaten away from the Vitality.
In their last home game, Eddie Howe’s side were able to pick-off Huddersfield in a comfortable 4-0 win. But prior to that, they’d won just one of five on the south coast.
The main bet here has to be Burnley with +0.50 start on the Asian Handicap – this sees a winner paid if the Clarets avoid defeat. I think you’ll get a decent run for your money at the 9/10 (Bet365) on offer. This organised and valiant Burnley team are no rollovers.
I was surprised to see Under 2.5 Goals trading around the 8/11 mark. Although odds on, I expected shorter. Five of Bournemouth’s last seven have seen fewer than three goals, while 11 of Burnley’s last 12 have seen the same bet bank. I think Burnley are underrated across all markets in this one.
The 17/25 (Marathon) about Under 1.5 Bournemouth Goals also caught my eye. Bournemouth have scored two or more goals in just three of their 13 league games while Burnley have only conceded two or more at Chelsea and City.
I’ve already spoken of Burnley’s defensive solidity and I don’t expect that to change this Wednesday.
Chelsea v Swansea | Wednesday 29th November 2017, 19:45
Chelsea have impressed me over the last few weeks.
They’ve gone through a tough period and look to be performing with efficiency again. They’ve won three of the four games this season against bottom-half sides ‘to nil’ and I can see that being the case again here.
Paul Clement is running on borrowed time at Swansea. Sat in 19th place, Swansea are the divisions lowest scorers and have failed to find the net in any of their last three matches.
They’ve lost each of their last three away games, and have failed to score in four of six trips this season.
Furthermore, Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has accounted for three of the Swans’ seven league goals this season. He won’t be available and so backing the Blues to win ‘to nil’ at 5/6 (Betway) appeals.
Best Bets
Bournemouth v Burnley – Burnley +0.50 Asian Handicap (9/10 Bet365)
Bournemouth v Burnley – Under 1.5 Bournemouth Goals (17/25 Marathon)
Chelsea v Swansea – Chelsea to win ‘to nil’ (5/6 Betway)
