TOM LOVEYS (@ValueBetMethods) analyses the odds from the Bundesliga card having scooped seven winners from 10 in recent weeks.

Augsburg v Schalke | Saturday 14.30

Schalke finally got the ball rolling on their season a fortnight ago with a surprising, but much needed 4-0 victory against Gladbach.

Markus Weinzierl’s men will be looking to continue this form and may fancy their chances against an Augsburg side that have been average at best so far this season.

Goals could be the order of the day here, Schalke have seen 12/20 away games go ‘Over 2.5’ whilst 10/20 Augsburg’s home games have also seen three or more goals.

Two of the last three clashes at the SGL Arena have also seen our selection end as a winner and with the Royal Blues hoping that Breel Embolo can continue his goalscoring form, the evens (188BET) available on Over 2.5 Goals can start us off nicely.

Eintracht Frankfurt v Bayern Munich | Saturday 14.30

I often look to try and oppose the champions; it’s a tough task and not always successful, but often the prices received are tempting.

Frankfurt have firmly put last season’s woes behind them and have started the season strongly. Despite losing to Freiburg before the international break, Eintracht have won 3/6 games this season and are unbeaten at home.

Obviously though, this will be their sternest test but Bayern have shown that on their travels they aren’t so dominant early on.

It’s a market I often look at here – half-time draw, which is priced at 167/100 (Marathon). It’s a selection that’s landed in exactly half of the last 40 respective home/away games and 3/4 head-to-heads at the Commerzbank Arena.

Whilst Bayern could easily walk over most teams, Frankfurt will want to show how far they’ve progressed and will be keen to keep it tight early on with honours even at the break possibly being value.

Mainz v Darmstadt | Sunday 14.30 | BT Sport 1

One of Sunday’s clashes sees the Zero-Fivers take on relegation favourites Darmstadt. Mainz sit 11th with an even bag of 2-2-2 whilst Darmstadt hover in 14th with just one win in their six games.

With Mainz already scoring 12 and conceding 11 this season, we’d hope for another game with action galore.

Last season’s clash saw a goalless game but previous matches down the years have seen 3-2, 4-1 and 2-3 results, so the potential is there.

Darmstadt’s coach Norbert Meier will know his side have to get something from their away games to not be embroiled in a relegation tussle – whilst Mainz’s top dog, Martin Schmidt, will want to give home fans their first three points.

It’s the Asian Goal Line for us, and Over 3 goals at 13/10 (188Bet) – it’s a bet that sees our money returned with exactly three goals – but paid out in full at a juicy price should there be four or more goals scored on Sunday.

Best Bets

Augsburg v Schalke – Over 2.5 Goals (1/1 188BET)

Eintracht Frankfurt v Bayern Munich – Half-Time Draw (167/100 Marathon)

Mainz v Darmstadt – Over 3 Goals (13/10 188BET)
