THE DAILY RECORD'S Mr Fixit (@mrfixittips) gives us his three best bets in Scotland this weekend.
Rangers v Hamilton | Saturday 12.30 | Sky Sports 1
The Premiership action kicks-off with this Saturday lunchtime’s game and Rangers will want to put down a marker in their first top-flight game in four years.
They are massive favourites at 2/5 (Ladbrokes) against a Hamilton side who've already lost to lower-league Ayr in the League Cup.
‘Gers should be far too strong for Martin Canning's men and are worth taking minus a goal at 21/20 on the handicap line with Coral.
Kilmarnock v Motherwell | Saturday 15.00
Killie are already on the brink of crisis before a ball is kicked after an awful League Cup campaign saw them lose to Championship side Morton and beaten on penalties by League One Albion Rovers.
Lee Clark has signed 11 new players, most of them inexperienced, in a big summer revamp but the jury is very much out on their quality and they face a tough opener at home to Motherwell.
The Steelmen have kept their star men from last season, such as Scott McDonald and Marvin Johnson, and I fancy them to take the points at 17/10 with BetVictor.
Falkirk v Hibs | Saturday 15.00
In the Championship there's a cracking opener between the teams who finished second and third last season.
But while Falkirk have been weakened by the exit of key players Will Vaulks and Blair Alston, Hibs have retained prize assets Jason Cummings and John McGinn and added a quality new manager in Neil Lennon.
The Easter Road side looked the part in their summer outings and ex-Celtic boss Lennon can get their title bid off to a flier with an away victory paying 10/11 (Paddy Power).
Best Bets
Rangers v Hamilton – Rangers -1 handicap (21/20 Coral)
Kilmarnock v Motherwell – Motherwell to win (17/10 BetVictor)
Falkirk v Hibs – Hibs to win (10/11 Paddy Power)
