AN incredible 30/1 treble from Gavin Horsfall’s (@GHorsfall) Notebook selections last weekend. Can he repeat the feat on Saturday?
Bradford v Wigan | Saturday 15.00
Could be a profitable decision to side with Middlesbrough loanee Yanic Wildschut (7/2 Paddy Power) when Wigan visit Bradford this Saturday.
The 23-year-old probably has ‘attacking midfielder’ posted in his bio somewhere but looks to have built up a useful partnership with Will Grigg further forward in both the 3-2 win at Peterborough and the 5-0 demolition of Colchester.
Wildschut scored his third of the season in that win at Posh midweek; 7/2 for an attacking threat playing in a side that’s scored 13 in their last four looks generous.
Peterborough v Doncaster | Saturday 15.00
Despite Peterborough’s loss at home to Wigan midweek the two goals they scored took the tally to 14 in the six games since Graham Westley took charge.
Jon Taylor (7/2 Bet365) has been in the thick of the opportunities that Posh have fashioned in the last month, the ex-Shrewsbury player just failing to add to the three in four he’s amassed in October.
Operating as part of a front three or just in behind a front two recently, Taylor can strike a blow against the manager that bought him to the club when Darren Ferguson brings Doncaster to London Road on Saturday.
Morecambe v Leyton Orient | Saturday 15.00
I thought 9/4 (Bet365) for Shaun Miller to extend his run to six consecutive scoring games was pretty decent all things considered.
Miller has seven in five games leading the line in Jim Bentley’s 4-2-3-1 with which three wins on the bounce has taken Morecambe into the playoff positions.
Leyton Orient visit The Globe Arena on Saturday in the middle of a poor run and without a clean sheet since August.
Best Bets
Bradford v Wigan – Yanic Wildschut to score at anytime (7/2 Paddy Power)
Peterborough v Doncaster – Jon Taylor to score at anytime (7/2 Bet365)
Morecambe v Leyton Orient – Shaun Miller to score at anytime (9/4 Bet365)
