Serie A: Back a gallon of goals to arrive on Sunday

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) looks to continue his hot streak in Serie A with his best Sunday selections.

Udinese v Sampdoria | Sunday 14:00

Many games of this Serie A round have little to say in terms of competitiveness, and Udinese v Sampdoria is one.

Both of the two sides had satisfactory seasons, having no particular worries of relegation for all season. They will aim to highlight their best talents in these last two matches, and I see both teams exploring their offensive abilities, with Stirpe Perica and Patrik Schick about to shine.

The Czech youngster had some special attention after a Denis Bergkamp style goal against Crotone and truly he is someone to look at.

Back bot teams to have fun here, with Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score (5/6 Coral) the angle.

Sassuolo v Cagliari | Sunday 14:00

A very similar discourse for Sassuolo v Cagliari, with the two sides being separated by only one point in a safe zone of the Serie A table.

Both teams have showed a particular love for goals throughout all the season, especially for Cagliari who had the second worst defence of the Serie A.

They do have a good scoring record also, and I expect them to oblige without much difficulties – Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score (3/4 Coral) is again the call.

Genoa v Torino | Sunday 14:00

This match is not useless as the ones above, with Genoa dramatically falling in the relegation zone after a promising first half of the season.

The Grifoni need points in these last two matches, to avoid the resurgence of Crotone who are pushing only two points behind them. Considering that Genoa have a final match at the Olimpico in Rome, their chances have to be played here, as a win should guarantee them a safe end of the season.

Nevertheless, Torino should be not much motivated but the two sides have something unresolved among them and I do not expect a quite afternoon for the home side.

They still have the capability to win but I expect at least one goal from both sides – I’ll back Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score (3/4 Coral).

Lazio v Inter Milan | Sunday 19:45 | BT Sport 1

Sunday night’s match between Lazio and Inter should be a parade more than a fierce affair.

Lazio have already granted their Europa League spot and they will try to win their last match at the Olimpico, while Inter have literally crashed in last two months, ruining a record that was granting them a place among the top-four.

Their home defeat against Sassuolo was probably a low record, and if it is true they come from four consecutive losses there are likely chances that this could be the fifth. They have showed such an inconstancy when traveling, conceding 10 goals in last four games.

Lazio have the right qualities to exploit such fragilities, and I expect to score easily. A goal from Inter should also come, given the quality of their attackers, so an Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score (4/7 Coral) bet is the safe option.
