Serie A Tips | 6th March 2016

MARCO Di Cosmo (@scioltz) is back with his best bets from Sunday's Serie A card.

Bologna v Carpi | Sunday 14:00

Bologna are one of my favorites team in Serie A since Roberto Donadoni took the job as head coach. This side have been good enough to stop Juventus' long run of 15 consecutive wins and they've also beaten Napoli.

Their form has been outstanding for a side who just started the season aiming to avoid relegation. They now sit in ninth place and will look to keep pushing here.

Carpi are in a difficult position. They need points badly to avoid relegation but I feel the drop may be inevitable although I expect them to really fight for everything here.

I do rate Bologna as one the best mid-table teams in Serie A and I reckon they'll attack this game with verve. With that in mind Evens looks like a gift!

Frosinone v Udinese | Sunday 14:00

This match also has the feel of a relegation tussle with the home side trying to keep their home form alive to have any remote chance of avoiding Serie B.

Their home record is something to be admired, especially in the first half of the season. Frosinone seems to easily surrender when facing big teams like Juve, Roma and Napoli but they’ve always been a threat to any medium-low range team.

They’ve only lost in their opening game against Torino when facing teams under the 10th position in the table and that's why I'm confident in backing them on the Double Chance. Udinese have a good away record, but I don’t rate them enough to violate a difficult ground like the Matusa.

Genoa v Empoli | Sunday 14:00

The third and final match involving teams involved in the relegation mix up is here with Genoa trying to help their cause by beating Empoli on Sunday afternoon.

The fact that the visitors have an offensive style of play makes me think this match will be played at a frenetic pace. Genoa's attack seems in good order just now despite the loss of Diego Perotti but their defence is a concern with no reliable defenders available to play.

There's no question for me that we'll see goals here and that's certainly indicative when it comes to Empoli games and the fact that Genoa have scored 17 times in 13 home games is another plus point.
