GAVIN Murphy (@GamePlanGavin) has been hammering the winners with his bookings tips since joining WLB. Here he takes a look at Manchester City’s match-up with Norwich on Saturday.

Manchester City v Norwich | Saturday 15.00

Norwich face a daunting trip to the Etihad to face table-topping Manchester City on Saturday afternoon. Although the East Anglians were 3-2 winners at the same venue in 2013, the Canaries’ most recent visit resulted in a 7-0 thrashing.

This season, Man City average 2.1 cards-per-game. Meanwhile, Norwich are one of the lowest card collectors in the Premier League wit just 1.4 cards-per-game on average.

Robert Madley gets the whistle and he’s averaging 3.75 cards-per-game. However, he was given plenty of stick for sending off Fabricio Collocini in the Tyne/Wear derby last week in a decision that’s since been rescinded.

Consequently, I think Madley will want a quiet match with little drama. The Citizens have the potential to put this game away before half-time so he may well get his wish! In five of the last six meetings between these two, the fixture featured three cards or fewer.

In the most recent three that Man City have hosted, the card totals have been 2-1-1 meaning all three featured fewer than three cards.

I like the look of Under 35 Bookings Points with William Hill at a nice 11/10. As always with bookings points bets, a yellow card earns 10 points whilst a red card receives 25 points. Should a player receive two yellows, 35 points are accrued.

I first got interested in gambling through my cousin. He's a professional gambler and got me hooked as a teenager when you had to pay the 9% tax. Who remembers that?! These days I prefer to specialise on one market rather than spread myself too thinly. Hence my love of cards! Hopefully I can make others a few bob in the process of sharing my bets on WeLoveBetting. On a personal note I love most sports especially cricket, rugby and NFL. I support Tottenham and all things Welsh and outside of sport I enjoy reading autobiographies particularly with a glass of good wine!
