Betting Exchange Tips | Matchbook | Saturday

We've teamed up with Matchbook to produce some betting exchange content over the next few weeks. You may have noticed we've also given away VIP tickets to Arsenal and have lots more in store. We kick things off by highlighting three odds on bets we're looking to lay this weekend.

Southampton to beat Aston Villa

At the time of writing Matchbook have Southampton have 1.82 to lay in this match. That's a road I'll happily take. Ronald Koeman's side have eased down in the second half of the season and if they lose their last two fixtures they'll finish just one point higher than last season.

One win in six and three defeats in four doesn't instil much confidence and when up against a team as buoyant and bouncy as Aston Villa (three wins in four) they need to be taken on at odds on.

Aberdeen to beat Dundee

It's been a great season for Aberdeen but there's no doubt that it's starting to wane now that Celtic have clinched the title. Two defeats in a row without scoring reek of a side who've downed tools for the campaign.

On Saturday they're at Dens Park and are 1.92 to lay. Paul Hartley's side have struggled in the Top 6 group but they're unbeaten in three against the Dons and are on home turf.

Over 2.5 Goals Liverpool v Crystal Palace

With Liverpool just 1.47 to win this game, goals are expected. Over 2.5 Goals is 1.8 to lay and that looks good.

I sense the home side may be a little nervous with this being Steven Gerrard's final home match and they may try too hard to put the ball in the back of the net. Palace are coming off the back of four consecutive defeats and will be happy with a draw. The goals may not flow.
