Serie A – Expect goals this Sunday

0

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) looks to continue his hot streak in Serie A with his best selections for this Sunday.

Torino v Inter | Sunday 8th April 2018, 11:30 | BT Sport

I expect both teams to find the net when Torino boss Walter Mazzarri meets his old team.

I like Inter’s chances in Turin but the home side let Mauro Icardi & co. have it easy. That’s why both teams to score looks the best option.

Crotone v Bologna | Sunday 8th April, 14:00

I expect both teams to find the net here too, but Crotone could have the edge over Bologna. That is why I’ll side with Over 2.5 Goals. Crotone usually get a fair few against opposition of Bologna’s calibre.

Napoli v Chievo | Sunday 8th April, 14:00 | BT Sport

Napoli can win in style against Chievo. Back the hosts to win without conceding.

The Partenopei were the best defence in Serie A early in the season, and have shown solidity when they’re focused,

Verona v Cagliari | Sunday 8th April, 14:00

This should be a very open match, and I am expecting goals galore.

Verona have little chance of avoiding relegation and any small hope would require a win here. They’ll be pushing throughout, and that could mean goals.

Udinese v Lazio | Sunday 8th April, 17:00 | BT Sport

Lazio should get the win at Udinese, but they’re also likely to concede given their difficult match on Thursday in the Europe League.

Backing goals is always a decent option when Lazio are involved, as the Biancocelesti have the best attacking record in Serie A.

Milan v Sassuolo | Sunday 8th April, 19:45 | BT Sport

Milan have showed significant improvement under Rino Gattuso who has recently signed a new contract given the brilliant job he’s done.

I’m backing Gattuso to continue his good work, with Milan seeing off Sassuolo at the San Siro.
