Haven't Watford done well so far? Most people were unsure how they'd turn out this season with so many new arrivals at the club. Some had them finishing bottom, others the lower reaches of mid-table.

Manager Quique Sanchez Flores has impressed so far, not only with his variety of smart jumpers but also in garnering good results for his side. Watford could hit the Top 6 if they win today and the newly promoted side have lost just one of their six Premier League matches.

Their solitary defeat came against title favourites Man City while they've beaten Swansea and took points off Everton and Southampton. Impressive form.

Opponents Crystal Palace have also had a good start to the season with three wins in their six matches and the highlight was of course their superb win at Stamford Bridge at the end of last month.

To their huge credit their three defeats they've suffered so far this season have all come against last season's Top 5 so there's certainly nothing to be ashamed about there.

I was quite struck by Alan Pardew last Sunday in his interview after their defeat to Tottenham. He looked really frustrated by the defeat and made a point of highlighting it was two defeats in a row and that wasn't acceptable. I think we'll see a reaction today.

I'm happy to invest faith in Pardew's men here and back them off 0 on the Asian Handicap at 23/20, essentially Draw No Bet. They've only lost to top-class sides this year and I think they're capable of finishing Top 8 this season. I suspect they're a level above Watford and we should get a feel for that on Sunday.
