There was a lot of gloom surrounding these clubs at the start of the season. Man City had meekly failed to defend their title last season and bar the additions of Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph looked much the shame.

Everton had a poor season in the Premier League finishing 11th and had made no major signing by the season's kick off two weeks ago. There was also fan unrest at manager Roberto Martinez and chairman Bill Kenwright.

But despite the negativity, both sides have started the season well. Man City blitzed past Chelsea and West Brom and are on the cusp of odds on for the title while Everton won 3-0 at Southampton on Saturday.

Despite their bottom half finish Everton gave it a real go against the top sides last season. In their eight matches against the Top 4 they scored in five of those games and notched 10 times in total. Crucially in all four home games against the Top 4 they found the back of the net.

Man City look incredibly focussed after the disappointment of last season and have already notched up six goals this season in their two games. West Brom were ripped apart in the opening Monday night game of the season and Chelsea couldn't compete with them last Sunday.

I think there are positives for both these sides and it's a positive market which I'll dip into. Over 3.5 Goals has priced up at 9/5 with BetVictor and that looks a nice price. I expect Everton to score so that will help the bet along. This should be an enjoyable match.
