MONDAY night football this week brings together Liverpool and Swansea. Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79) takes a look at whether Brendan Rodgers can beat his old side.

Liverpool v Swansea | Monday 20:00 | Sky Sports 1

After a couple of years of being outrageously short in the betting, Liverpool's price seems to have hit the right level in recent weeks. 8/11 with Ladbrokes on them beating Swansea at Anfield seems pretty fair.

Despite their so-called woes, Liverpool have lost only one of their last nine matches. That was the 3-0 humbling at Old Trafford two weeks ago, but also in that spell they've won four times and got a draw against Arsenal. Goals have come in seven of those fixtures.

As great a season as Swansea have had, their away form has been below average with just two wins from their eight games. But scratch beneath the surface and you'll find their away losses have come at Chelsea, Man City, West Ham and Stoke. No shame in that.

Garry Monk's side have also won at Old Trafford this season so cannot be underestimated on their travels.

The odds-against bet I like is for exactly two or three goals to be scored in this game. That's 11/10 with BetVictor and that looks a good price. Swansea have now scored in their last eight matches, but crucially have registered just once in six of those games (including the last four).

For Liverpool, they've scored exactly once or twice in seven of their last 11 games. They'll be expecting to score here, and I can also see Swansea contributing.

A 1-1 draw or a 2-1 Liverpool win for me seem the most likely scorelines and that fits my bet perfectly. It's two or three goals for me at odds-against.

Liverpool v Swansea – Exactly 2 or 3 Goals To Be Scored (11/10 BetVictor)
