THE live game tonight brings together League Two Shrewsbury and Premier League leaders Chelsea. Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79) seeks the best bets.

Shrewsbury v Chelsea | Tuesday 19:45 | Sky Sports 1

Unlike a lot of the major sides, Chelsea have always seemed to take the League Cup seriously. Back in 2005 they won the competition to kick-start a decade of glory. Since that inaugural win they've reached at least the quarter-finals on six occasions (winning again in 2007). It's a stellar record.

Despite that untidy 2-1 win over Bolton in the previous round, the team was stacked with quality. Eden Hazard, Oscar, Andre Schurrle and Nemanja Matic all played their part that night and it was an unlikely stoic effort from a Dougie Freedman-led Bolton side. I'd expect a wider margin of victory on Tuesday but at a best price 2/7 with Paddy Power, we can't exactly back Chelsea can we?

The key is Shrewsbury and their magnificent home record. The Shrews sit three points clear at the top of the League Two home table after picking up 22 points out of a possible 24 at New Meadow. They've beaten league leaders Luton 2-0 and smashed five past Bury with no reply. Nineteen scored, just three conceded. Impressive stuff!

I'm willing to put my money on Micky Mellon's side scoring on Tuesday night. I wouldn't be surprised if they matched Chelsea in the opening periods before running out of gas. The 15/4 with BetVictor for a Draw/Chelsea double result appeals but I'm not quite brave enough to get involved. Instead it's Both Teams To Score for me at 6/5 with Paddy Power. Let's respect that impressive Shrewsbury home form.
