QPR v Aston Villa | Monday 20:00 | Sky Sports 1

Those who follow me on Twitter will know I'm dead against Aston Villa this season. I think 13/2 with Ladbrokes is too big on them to go down. So, naturally I have to be with QPR on Monday night.

QPR are having a rough ol' season for sure but there have been definite signs of improvement in two of their last three games. The narrow defeat to Southampton had positives, while the injustice of their Liverpool loss might just sting them into action. There are signs of unrest at the club with the manager Harry Redknapp engaging in some highly unprofessional behaviour but I have to take a chance here at odds of 29/20 with BetVictor.

The key is really how they react to last Sunday. Will the confidence of matching Liverpool fuel their verve here, or will they retreat back into their shell after the hurt of losing with virtually the last kick of the ball? I've been suckered in with QPR quite a few times over the last couple of seasons and that will be the case again tonight.

Aston Villa have lost four games in a row and have failed to score in each defeat. I thought they might keep it tight against an Everton side who haven't clicked yet but still lost 3-0. I think they're a poor team to be honest and have been going backwards for a couple of years now.

Yes, they started the season well with three wins out of four but the wheels have come off since then. It's alarming that this side have scored just four goals in the league this season. Four! It's nearly November! It's now 44 days since they notched in the Premier League and that's a worrying statistic.

For that reason I'll have the audacity to have a small nibble on QPR to win to nil at 3/1 with BetVictor. Yes, I could look extremely foolish tomorrow reading this back.

Excellent effort from Chris. Yes, Alan’s a good friend of ours and knows the non-league game inside out – he was responsible for that huge price swing so hope you got on in time 😉
