PLEASE welcome Louis Ross (@KingLouis2105) to the WeLoveBetting stable. Louis has been an NFL fan for over 20 years and will be providing us with a pick every week. This weekend he's focussing on a Sunday game.
St Louis Rams @ Washington Redskins | Sunday 18:00
This game appears to be between two of the weakest quarterbacks in the NFL and those are usually very hard to call. However, I think this match-up comes down to defence and in that case there can surely only be one pick.
The Washington Redskins (3-9), have scored less than 20 points in their last four home games and allowed 39 sacks on their QB this season. That's the second highest figure in the NFL. The St Louis Rams defensive end Robert Quinn has nine sacks in his last seven games. Redskins QB Colt McCoy could be in for a very long day!
These Rams (5-7) appear to be very close to mounting a real challenge to the established elite. Last Sunday, they scored more 1st Half points (38) than at any time in their history. That includes Kurt Warners ”Greatest Show On Turf”. Last week Tre Mason was a monster at RB scoring me huge points in my Fantasy League.
Washington are not scoring points and can't stop conceding them either. St Louis on the other hand are in great form and backed up their win over the wonderful Denver Broncos with a resounding 52-0 battering of Oakland last week. Wow.
The only play for me here is St Louis -3 at 20/21 with Paddy Power.
