Scottish Football Tips | Mr Fixit’s Treble | 26th September 2015

THE Daily Record's Mr Fixit (@mrfixittips) has been hard at work coming up with his perfect weekend treble for us.

Hibs v St Mirren | Saturday 15:00

Hibs are flying and claimed extra kudos by ending Aberdeen's winning start to the domestic season with a great League Cup win during the week.

That made it five victories on the spin for Alan Stubbs' side who have recovered from a slow start to the season and boast plenty of quality such as on-loan Celtic midfielder Liam Henderson. John McGinn is another talented midfielder and faces his old team St Mirren for the first time today since his summer switch.

Saints have found life in the second tier tough since relegation last term and have just one win in their last five league outings.
Take Hibs to continue their hot streak at 4/9 with Bet365.

Raith v Dumbarton | Saturday 15:00

Raith put up a solid showing in the League Cup in midweek where they ran Celtic close before losing 2-0 and can edge out Dumbarton on Saturday. Rovers come into the game in good form in the Championship having racked up back-to-back wins.

Dumbarton haven't won in five, losing four of those games, and suffered defeat in both trips to Stark's Park last season. Raith should land the home win at 20/21 with Boylesports.

Ayr v Peterhead | Saturday 15:00

Ayr are another team who've hit their stride in recent weeks with some great performances. A draw against title hopefuls Forfar has been followed by three straight victories and today they face a Peterhead side whose form has nosedived after a promising start.

The Blue Toon are winless in four and even crashed at home to rock-bottom Brechin last weekend to gift them their first points of the campaign. Ayr look big at 6/5 with William Hill to take the three points.

Best Bets

Hibs v St Mirren – Hibs to win (4/9 Bet365)

Raith v Dumbarton – Raith to win (20/21 Boylesports)

Ayr v Peterhead – Ayr to win (6/5 William Hill)
