My selection this weekend comes from the William Hill Scottish Cup as Premiership side Motherwell host Championship leaders Ross County.

The Scottish Cup takes centre stage this weekend as the big boys enter and we also welcome back the Premiership teams from their three week winter break.

Motherwell are having one of those inconsistent campaigns, sitting in ninth with not much danger of relegation, but at the same time no major opportunity to reach the top-six either.

‘Well finished 2018 with an excellent derby victory over neighbours Hamilton and will hope to use that win to go on a good cup run, starting here.

County sit top of the Championship but have lost their last two games – last week’s 4-0 hammering by Queen of the South will set alarm bells ringing for the Dingwall men who are hoping to bounce straight back to the top-flight this season.
