THE Daily Record's Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) shares his best bets from Saturday's Scottish action.
Rangers v Dundee | Saturday 15th September 2018, 15:00
Rangers have won one out of four Premiership games so it’s time for Steven Gerrard’s men to start hunting down the leaders.
It was never going to be an easy start for the rookie gaffer with away trips to Aberdeen, Motherwell and Celtic.
Gers entertain Dundee on Saturday then have two games they should win – St Johnstone (h), Livingston (a) – as they aim to at least lose no more ground on champions Celtic and leaders Hearts.
Gerrard’s men are massive favourites to beat Dundee with the likes of William Hill and Ladbrokes going 1/4.
Dee are pointless and boss Neil McCann must be fearing he’ll be next to join Kenny Miller and Alan Stubbs on the sidelines.
His men are the lowest scorers in the division with two and have you have to fancy a robust Rangers to cover the -1 handicap at 5/6 with bet365.
Hibs v Kilmarnock | Saturday 15th September 2018, 15:00
This looks a good battle with Neil Lennon men’s trying to bounce back from a shock defeat at Livingston.
Last season’s meetings at Easter Road finished 5-3 and 1-1 so again go for goals with both teams scoring.
Hibs’ attacking philosophy always gives up chances at the other end – three of their four league games have seen btts – and Killie have the quality in the likes of Jordan Jones and Kris Boyd to take advantage.
Back both to score at evens at Paddy Power.
Edinburgh City v Annan| Saturday 15th September 2018, 15:00
The top two in League Two meet and you have fancy the home men.
They have won five in a row including victories to nil at antepost favourites Peterhead and Clyde.
Annan have faltered with back-to-back losses in league and cup so back City at 6/5 with bet365.
Best Bets
Rangers v Dundee – Rangers -1 handicap (5/6 Bet365)
Hibs v Kilmarnock – Both teams to score (1/1 Paddy Power)
Edinburgh City v Annan – Edinburgh City to win (6/5 Bet365)
