DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) returns with his best bets from Wednesday night's Scottish Premiership card.
Scottish Premiership | Wednesday 4th December 2019, 19:45
The big game on Wednesday night is Aberdeen v Rangers but the biggest profit could be at Kilmarnock.
Bookies have priced up Killie too big at home to basement boys St Johnstone and punters have been weighing in. The Rugby Park men opened at 11-10, were trading on Tuesday night at 9-10 with Ladbrokes and will go off shorter.
Saints defended woefully in Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Motherwell and have conceded nine in three. I can't see past Killie and since they've won their last three meetings at Rugby Park by 2-0 consider that at 7-1.
Four days before the Betfred Cup final, Rangers face a tougher test at Aberdeen than rivals Celtic who are at home to Hamilton. Steven Gerrard's men must have one eye on Hampden but can't afford to slip up in the title race.
I'm backing the Teddy Bears at 1-2 but it could be close. Alfredo Morelos has had his moments against the Dons but this season is focused on goals and not cards and can't be ignored at 21/20 with Unibet to score.
Aberdeen were thrashed 5-0 at Ibrox and are as big as 11-2 with Ladbrokes. Top scorer Sam Cosgrove is 5-2 to net at any time and and while Gers have lost one in seven at Pittodrie they've conceded there in the last six.
Celtic are unlikely to risk hitman Odsonne Edouard against Accies and may rest others so check the line-up before you decide how many they'll win by. On the handicaps Celtic -2 is probably OK on accas at 4-6 as long as at least half the regulars start.
Mikey Johnston returned from injury to net against Rennes and Ross County and if he starts could be a shout for the opener at 5/1 with Betfair.
Elsewhere I like Both Teams To Score (8/13 William Hill) at Ross County v Hibs – County's last six have totalled 25 and it's the same for Hibs' last five. Jack Ross has improved Hibs but they're still conceding and at the weekend drew 2-2 with Kilmarnock after giving away a second in injury time.
Hearts will struggle until a new man is in the dugout – looks like ex-Barnsley boss Daniel Stendl – will be that man at the weekend – so consider Livingston +1 at Tynecastle at 3/4 with Coral.
Best Bets
Kilmarnock v St Johnstone – Kilmarnock to win (9/10 Ladbrokes)
Aberdeen v Rangers – Alfredo Morelos to score at anytime (21/20 Unibet)
Celtic v Hamilton – Mikey Johnston to score first (5/1 Betfair)
Ross County v Hibs – Both Teams To Score (8/13 William Hill)
Hearts v Livingston – Livingston +1 handicap (3/4 Coral)
