My selection this weekend comes from the Scottish Premiership as Aberdeen host Hearts on Saturday afternoon.

Aberdeen have turned their season around in recent weeks, winning four of their last five games, which has seen the Dons jump up the table to fourth and only three points off the top.

Derek McInnes’s men have been the best of the rest in recent seasons and after a slow start their starting to show that kind of form again.

Hearts are the opposite. After leading the league by five points back in October, the capital club’s form has tailed off dramatically as they’ve only won one of their last seven, which has seen the Jambos drop to fifth.

If results were to go against them, Hearts could easily find themselves out the top-six by end of weekend.

The last time the sides met in October, Hearts won 2-1. Since then, Hearts have taken only eight points from an available 27, whilst Aberdeen have collected 21 from the same 27 points available – I’m hoping that form will continue again this weekend.
