DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixitstips) picks out his three best bets in Scotland from the second weekend of league action in 2017/18.
Rangers v Hibs | Saturday 12th August 2017, 15:00
Celtic's dominance of Scottish football means there aren't too many fixtures that get the juices flowing. One game on Saturday though promises to be action-packed – full of goals and incident.
Rangers take on Hibs and both teams have started the season in superb fashion with eight goals apiece in their last two matches.
Pedro Caixinha's hosts have recovered well from their European disaster with Graham Dorrans, Bruno Alves and Alfredo Moreles impressing.
I tipped Hibs for a top-four finish and Easter Road is surrounded by optimism with Neil Lennon respected and new boys such as Simon Murray, Anthony Stokes, Steven Whittaker and Deivydas Matulevicius already among the goals.
When the prices for Ibrox revealed Hibs were as big as 5/1 and they've been cut to 4/1 at Paddy Power with McBookie only 33/10. It's good value because either side could win this and Rangers look too short at 8/11.
But instead of the Match Odds market let's focus on goals and hope there are plenty. Both Teams To Score pays 4/5 at Bet365 and Over 2.5 Goals is 9/10 at Marathon.
I'll combine the two and go for Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score at 5/4 with Coral.
Brechin v Livingston | Saturday 12th August 2017, 15:00
The best bet in the Championship could be Livingston at Brechin.
League One champions Livi beat promoted City 2-0 and 3-0 last season and progressed to the last-eight of the League Cup at Falkirk in midweek.
A price of 4/5 with BetVictor looks value.
Ayr v Forfar | Saturday 12th August 2017, 15:00
Ayr's magical run of five straight wins came to an end at Hibs in midweek but that League Cup last-16 exit was no shame.
They should return to winning ways against Forfar in League One and look good for a couple of goals.
Take Ayr to win and Over 1.5 Goals at 10/11 with Betfair.
