Scottish Football: Kille could come a cropper, says Mr Fixit

DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixitstips) picks out his three best bets in Scotland from the fourth weekend of league action in 2017/18.

Kilmarnock v Hamilton | Saturday 26th August 2017. 15:00

Hamilton busted coupons across the land last week with their 3-1 success at high-flying Hibs.

It followed a superb 3-0 home win over Dundee and Martin Canning's shocktroops can make it three on the bounce at Rugby Park.

Struggling Killie have started the Premiership season in abysmal fashion with three home games, losing them all and scoring just once.

They look in trouble already and Accies can deepen their woes. Hamilton have a good record at Rugby Park – unbeaten their last five visits, winning four – and I fancy them to take the points at 51/25 at Marathon.

Ayr v Arbroath | Saturday 26th August 2017. 15:00

Ayr are the goal kings of the Scottish scene with seven of their last eight games seeing Over 4.5 Goals.

They top League One with a perfect record and face an Arbroath side who lost a five-goal thriller last week at home to Arbroath.

Another high scorer looks on the cards so go for Over 3.5 Goals at 13/8 with BetVictor.

Peterhead v Stirling | Saturday 26th August 2017. 15:00

Stirling seem overpriced for the trip to title favourites Peterhead who have a doubt over star striker Rory McAllister and only one fit centre-half.

Albion are setting the pace in League Two after three straight wins, keeping clean sheets in their last two, while a McAllister-less Peterhead crashed 3-1 at Stenhousemuir last Saturday.

The Binos are big at 7/2 but I'll go the visitors draw no bet at 12/5 with William Hill.

Best Bets

Kilmarnock v Hamilton – Hamilton to win (51/25 Marathon)

Ayr v Arbroath – Over 3.5 Goals (13/8 BetVictor)

Peterhead v Stirling – Stirling draw no bet (12/5 William Hill)
