THE DAILY RECORD'S Mr Fixit (@mrfixitstips) picks out his three best bets in Scotland this weekend.
Celtic v Inverness | Saturday 15:00
The Scottish Cup takes centre stage this weekend and a convincing win looks on the cards at Parkhead.
Inverness are the only side to take points off the Bhoys in the Premiership with a 2-2 draw back in September.
But they crashed 3-0 away in November and have conceded 27 on their last seven visits. They're also in rotten form, going winless in 13 Premiership games and sitting rock bottom.
Brendan Rodgers rested some players for the 3-0 defeat of Albion Rovers in the last round but with the Treble on the line won't take too many risks with his starting line-up this time.
Take Celtic -2 at 7/5 with Paddy Power.
St Johnstone v Partick | Saturday 15:00
Saints impressed against Celtic last week before a ridiculous penalty decision turned the game and Tommy Wright's men ended up being walloped 5-2.
But they should bounce back from that disappointment by beating Partick at home to reach the quarter-finals. Saints are a best 59/50 with Marathon and while they've lost three in a row at home to the Jags – all by 2-1 – they've beaten them twice at Firhill.
The most recent was a 1-0 win in February and Thistle haven't netted in four league games.
Ross County v Aberdeen | Saturday 15:00
Aberdeen have won six out of seven – the only blip being a 1-0 loss at Celtic – and can KO County.
The Dons lost in Dingwall in December but are in better form and should battle through against a leaky Staggies side.
Jim McIntyre's men conceded at least two goals in six successive games before last week's 1-1 draw at Rangers where only a wonder show from County keeper Scott Fox kept the score down.
Fox is likely to be kept busy again this weekend and I'm on the Dons to score 2+ goals at 8/9 with 888.
Best Bets
Celtic v Inverness – Celtic -2 handicap (7/5 Paddy Power)
St Johnstone v Partick – St Johnstone to win (59/50 Marathon)
Ross County v Aberdeen – Aberdeen to score Over 1.5 Goals (8/9 888)
