My last selection of 2019 comes from the Scottish Premiership as Aberdeen travel south to face basement boys Hearts on Sunday.
Alarm bells are starting to ring around Gorgie as Hearts are really in a relegation battle now; it was hoped new manager would give the whole club a big boost but it’s been the opposite.
Four straight defeats and just one goal scored has set the Jambos to bottom of the table. A home Boxing Day defeat to bitter rivals Hibs has really got the supporters worried.
Aberdeen won 2-1 over Livingston on Boxing Day which keeps them on tails of third-place Motherwell – the two sides are in mini league themselves for third and fourth as they’ve broken away from the pack.
The Dons will fancy their chances of heaping more misery on the struggling Jambos and are my NAP at 8/5 (Betfair).
