PRO PUNTER Dino Vita (@VitaDino) is heading to Hamilton for his first Scottish NAP of the new season.
Hamilton v Hearts | Saturday 4th August 2018, 15:00
The new season is upon us and I’m heading to the Scottish Premiership in search of our first winner of the season. I’m taking Hearts (19/20 Marathon) to claim all three points on the opening Saturday of the season away at Hamilton.
Hearts have had a big turnaround in personnel this summer with 13 new arrivals, and Craig Levein has used the League Cup to try things out and it all seemed to click into place last weekend as they thrashed Inverness 5-0.
Levein has kept the backbone of the side from last term and added some quality, which will hope to improve on last season’s sixth-placed finish.
Hamilton, on the other hand, have had a poor League Cup campaign, only winning one game against a Berwick outfit in which they were expected to. A 1-0 defeat to third division Annan and last weekend’s 1-1 draw at home to League One Airdrie has already set alarm bells ringing for some Accies fans.
Hamilton have lost arguably their two best players in Ali Crawford and David Templeton, both who added that attacking spark in games for them.
A lot is expected of Hearts this season and I fully expected them to get their season off to a flying start by taking all three points.
Best Bets
